During this transition and time of change, massage sessions can provide you with a safe space to tune in to your body and baby and share any thoughts or concerns in a supportive and nurturing environment. Massage is also a great way of dealing with any physical aches and pains that can often be prevalent during pregnancy and motherhood.
I work holistically during massage sessions and work with your body and energy, depending on what you feel you and your baby need at the time and where you are in your pregnancy and motherhood journey. Using massage and shiatsu to help you to relax, we also focus on postural awareness, relaxation with movement exercise and meditation, particularly if you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious, including activities you can do at home.
The sessions can help you to bring awareness to your body and baby, prepare your mind and body for birth, the postnatal period and motherhood, reduce anxiety, stress and fear, stay present, connect with your growing baby and your instincts.
Bodywork sessions take place in your own home, additional travel expenses may apply depending on location.
